About Cynthia

Cynthia is an Extension Professor in the Department of Forest Resources at the University of Minnesota. As an extension specialist at the U, Cynthia has extensive experience working with communities and industry representatives from around Minnesota on a variety of outdoor recreation- and tourism-oriented community development projects. As part of the North Shore Community Climate Readiness Project, Cynthia has been leading the efforts of communicating with local stakeholders along the North Shore about the project’s activities and findings.

In addition to leading the North Shore Community Climate Readiness Project’s communication and outreach efforts, Cynthia has over 30 years of experience in sustainable tourism research and outreach projects both within Minnesota and throughout the Midwest.
